  Secretary- General of the Gulf Cooperation Council visits the GCC Joint Program Production Institution

The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid al-Zayani, visit on Monday, 5 November 2018, the GCC Joint Program Production Institution headquarters in Kuwait; and he was received by a number of senior officials.

The Secretary General toured the institution, and listened to a detailed explanation of the role played by all sectors and divisions, and visited the studios, which were equipped with the latest equipment, and was represented with the latest productions and publications of the Institution.

On this occasion, HE the Secretary General expressed his pride in what he saw at the art studios of high-tech equipment, which reflects the efforts exerted by the management of the institution to continue the progress it made in producing and publishing its productions.  

He also praised the pioneering role of the GCC Joint Program Production Institution in supporting the collective media work, and enriching the Gulf media library with many programs and productions aimed at promoting the Gulf cohesion, strengthening its interdependence, preserving our heritage, and consolidates our cultural identity through generations.

He stressed that the GCC Joint Program Production Institution has been an important informational figure in the GCC collective media work, which achieved a high reputation as an active media organization in the field of television and radio production, and its outstanding media and artistic achievements throughout its four-decade journey.
