  The GCC Secretary-General: The World Government Summit aims to improve people's life

Under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, and Ruler of Dubai, The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid al-Zayani, participated on Sunday, 10 February 2019, in the 7th Annual Gathering of the World Government Summit, hosting over 4000 participants from 140 countries, including; Presidents, prime ministers, ministers and international leaders of 30 organizations.
The World Government Summit is attended by 600 speakers from future advisors, experts and specialists in more than 200 key interactive dialogues.
Dr. Al-Zayani expressed his pride in participating in the 7th Annual Gathering of The World Government Summit, that has become a global platform of great importance, praising the efforts exerted by the Government of the United Arab Emirates to annually hold this Summit due to its international high reputation and prestige, as it aims to improve people's life by seeking ideas and solutions to face all future challenges.
The Secretary-General pointed out the specialized forums to be held within the Summit, and on various aspects related to improving people's life by looking at the future of technology and its impact on governments, Healthcare, quality of life, environment and climate change, education, trade and international cooperation, communities and politics, and the communication between the government and society.
Dr. Al-Zayani stated that the World Government Summit is now one of the most important international conferences, and reflects the UAE Government interest in contributing to the search for ideas and solutions to all issues and challenges facing the world.
