The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani received on Wednesday, 6 February 2019, in his office at the GCC headquarters, Dr. Faleh bin Rashid Al-Azmi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the GCC Accounting and Auditing Organization, member of the responsible committee for managing the Authority's transitional period.

During the meeting they discussed means to enhance the cooperation between the GCC and the GCCAAO, and the efforts they make to support, develop and regulate the Accounting and Auditing Profession in the GCC States and raise the level of coordination among them. In addition to their role in transferring the latest developments and knowledge in this field, through preparing and implementing educational and training programs, and encouraging specialists to further research and study in order to improve the level of professional performance in this area and fit the international standards.

The meeting was attended by, Mr. Musallat Abdullah Alsubaie, GCC Director-General for Administrative and Financial Affairs.
