Page ContentThe GCC Steering Committee of the GCC Smart Card held the 12th meeting on Thursday, 11 July 2019, at the GCC headquarters, in Riyadh; with the participation of the representatives of the GCC national identity concerned authorities and the GCC Secretariat. During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues related to the GCC Smart Card and means to develop the services provided by it, where they reviewed the GCC Secretariat's report on the implementation of the Committee's decisions at the previous meeting, as well as the of the interconnection system between the Digital Certification Centers of the GCC States. They also reviewed the Member States experiences in regards to the latest smart card technologies in order to achieve the GCC citizens' aspirations.
