The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani strongly condemned the continuation of Armed Conflict between the brothers in Aden, describing the ongoing war as an outrageous crime that violates the bonds of brotherhood, religion and humanitarian values, endangering the lives of civilians and threatening security and stability in the region.

The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council called on the conflicting forces in Aden to prevailing wisdom and reason and take into account the higher interests of the Yemeni people, stressing that the enemies of Yemen are the only beneficiaries of this regretful conflict. He asserted that the current stage requires the concerted efforts of all the Yemeni parties who are keen on Yemen’s security, stability and sovereignty to support the legitimate government, and complete the sovereignty of the Yemeni state over all its territories, and maintain security and stability in Yemen.
