During the meeting they discussed, ways to enhance cooperation between the GCC and the United Kingdom in various fields. Dr. Abdul Aziz Hamad Al Owaishek, Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Negotiations, said that they discussed the joint events to implement the approved work plans, coordination meetings, and workshops to be organized by the two sides during the upcoming year 2019; that includes, the implementation of the GCC-UK communication strategy and the Joint Action Plan to counter Terrorism and Extremism.
