  The GCC Standing Committee for Combating Harmful Practices in International Trade holds the 30th meeting

GCC- Muscat

The GCC Standing Committee for Combating Harmful Practices in International Trade held the 30th Meeting at The GCCSTAT headquarters, in Muscat, on 22-23 January 2019. The meeting was chaired by, Mr. Mahmoud Amer Al-Hattali, Assistant Director General of Commerce in the Omani Ministry of Commerce and Industry. In his welcoming speech, he stressed the role played by the Standing Committee in achieving the desired results of the objectives supporting the GCC economy, and creating the appropriate conditions to support and enhance the GCC industry. He also praised the State of Kuwait efforts during its chairmanship of the previous session.

For his part, the Director-General of the GCC Technical Secretariat Office of Combating Harmful Practices in International Trade, Mr. Rehan Mubarak Fayez, welcomed Mr. Al-Hattali as a member of the Standing Committee, wishing him all the best, and thanked Mr. Saud Nasser Al Khusaibi, former member, for his efforts.

During the meeting they reviewed its agenda regarding the GCC Industry, the most important of which; the latest developments on the GCC industry feedbacks and complaints, and the intra-GCC trade mechanism.
