In his speech, DR. Adel Khalifa al-Zayani, Head of the Human and Environmental Affairs Sector stressed the importance of this strategy that was adopted in 2008 for 10 years by their Majesties and highnesses leaders of the GCC, and which then the measurement indexes were prepared to evaluate the results of the past period. The Head of the Human and Environmental Affairs Sector also referred to the GCC Cultural Ministerial Committee decision to restructure this strategy and hold this symposium, with hope that the new strategy will be in line with future visions, taking into consideration the technological developments of the new media, the changes, the challenges and the priorities, as well as intensifying cultural activities and programs that have a positive impact in this regard.
