GCC- Riyadh

The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani strongly condemned the firing of a rocket-propelled grenade at Saudi Arabia’s Abha International Airport that wounded 26 civilians, describing this act as a terrorist crime that runs counter to the international humanitarian law.
The Secretary General denounced the targeting of the populated areas and civilian facilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a war crime, and a direct threat to the safety of both the Saudi citizens and residents, and a clear indication that the Houthi group has exceeded all Islamic values and international laws.
The Secretary General called upon the international community to denounce such aggressive crimes against the civilian areas in the kingdom, urging the UN Security Council to put an end to continued attacks carried out by the Houthi group on Saudi Arabia in a clear threat to regional security and peace.
